The first treatment includes a consultation and lasts approx. 1¼ hrs. Follow-up treatments take approx. ¾ hr.

The first treatment cost (inc. consultation) is £65 and follow-up treatments cost £50 per session.

Careful questioning, listening, palpation and observations, including pulse and tongue diagnosis are used to understand the disharmony. Questions are broad and take Into account the whole bodily system.

Medical history, medication, lifestyle, diet, work are all taken into account. Advice will be given where appropriate.

Each person is treated as an individual and acupuncture points are selected specifically for the person.

Fine sterile acupuncture needles are inserted just beneath the skin’s surface. There should be minimal pain on insertion. A sensation of dull, tingling or numbness may be felt at the needle site during the treatment. The needles are left In place for 20 mins (heat or electro-stimulation may be used if appropriate).

The treatment is described as relaxing.
